NZ Green Party
As a Content Producer at the Green Party of Aotearoa New Zealand, I designed materials for the Parliament wing of the party to use across digital and print channels. A large amount of this was social media content (static and video) to announce policies or react to government news, but I also regularly designed official documents, posters, stickers, flyers and more.
Video content
I created lots of video content in my role - from Parliament debating chamber clips to MP-facing campaign videos, policy promotion, volunteer recruitment znd event/protest follow alongs. Much of this was created for a young social media following, so humour were also a priority.
Social media graphics
Alongside video, graphic design was a key pillar of this role. Here are some graphics I made for use on Instagram, Facebook and X which were created to promote and share Green Party policies, encourage people to vote/engage in politics, and highlighting the flaws in other parties' policies.
Policy Documents
During the 2023 election campaign, the Green Party released eight policies. For each of these, I created full policy documents, as well as policy summary documents. These official documents were published to press and the public, and were commended for their fresh and engaging look.
Printed Election Material
In the lead up to New Zealand's 2023 General Election, I created posters, flyers, and other various printed materials to be used by MPs, political candidates and volunteers on the campaign trail.
Oil & Gas Drilling Campaign
I created collateral to accompany a campaign to protect the ban on oil and gas drilling in Aotearoa's waters.
Stickers
Fun stickers are a central part of the Green Party's brand recognition, and they're given out at universities and events nationwide. I created a set of new sticker designs to coincide with the refreshed, colourful brand post-election.
