Illustration + Art
My creative practice has seen many evolutions, but a consistent thread has been my interest in illustration. While studying, I began freelancing as an illustrator, and selling my artwork at community markets.
Since then, I’ve continued creating illustration work for larger clients and campaigns, and delving into other tactile mediums including murals and mosaics. Below is a selection of this work.

Consumer NZ
I was commissioned to create illustrations for the Consumer NZ campaign around Right to Repair and the introduction of a mandatory product repairability label.
These included a magazine cover for the August/September 2022 publication, as well as a full-page internal illustration and spot illustrations for ongoing print/social/web use.
Capital Magazine
Illustration for Capital Magazine's annual subscriber freebie tea towel. This illustration was inspired by the waterfront market in Wellington - an iconic weekly event in the Capital city.
Trees of Aotearoa
'Trees of Aotearoa' is a duo of electrical box murals commissioned by Chorus to raise visibility of Aotearoa New Zealand's native plant species.
Situated in suburban Wellington, these serve a dual purpose of encouraging locals to practice and learn their Te Reo Māori (indigenous language of NZ.)
He Kanohi Kitea
"He kanohi kitea" (a face seen) is an important saying and value in Māoridom, acknowledging the importance of meeting people face-to-face to build relationships and trust."
This is an artwork commissioned for Enjoy Contemporary Art Space's reading room- an inviting place to nurture and encourage interactions and relationships.
